Rye Brook - Building Envelope Restoration

The beautiful Atrium office building located in Westchester County and visible just off the Merrit Parkway was in serious need of a new roof system and stucco refurbishment. The building envelope was carefully evaluated by the EBI team. Roof cores were taken and the existing roof system was surveyed to determine if slopes were adequate for roof drainage.

Drawings and specifications for a complete 90, 000 square foot roof replacement were developed with careful consideration to the movement of water around the building’s large Atrium skylights.

With the roof installation behind them, EBI evaluated the exterior stucco system and developed a restoration specification. A new elastomeric coating system was applied to the building including the re-caulking of failed sealants at expansion joints and windows. Deteriorated areas of stucco façade were replaced.
