EBI was founded by Vincent A. Boccia, P.E. in 1994 to meet the growing demand for his expert opinion in the area of waterproofing and building restoration. The background of the EBI team is derived from over four decades in the waterproofing and masonry industry.

From designing comprehensive waterproofing and roofing systems to preparing building façade restoration plans, EBI has become a specialist in the industry by providing innovative solutions to complex construction problems.

Vincent A. Boccia, P.E.

Vincent Boccia is a licensed New York State Professional Engineer with his field of expertise in Waterproofing and Masonry. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York and a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering at Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, New York.

Vincent has acquired extensive building construction experience, particularly in the area of identifying troublesome building details and designing solutions. Vincent specializes in diagnosing water intrusion and drainage problems above and below grade. He has designed waterproofing systems in thousands of residential and commercial buildings.

Vincent A. Boccia, P.E. has lectured to Engineer's and Architects alike on topics of properly diagnosing and waterproofing various structures. His lectures are accredited for continuing education for these professionals. Vincent is the leading authority on restoration in the New York area.

Vincent provides expert court testimony and is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, International Concrete Repair Institute and many other engineering and restoration organizations.

Frank Boccia

Frank Boccia is a Senior Construction Inspector and Project Manager for Engineered Building Inspections, P.C. He is certified as a Structural Masonry Special Inspector by the International Code Council. Frank is a graduate of C.W. Post University earning a Bachelor of Science in 1982. Frank is currently finishing a second Bachelor of Science from Hofstra University in Civil Engineering.

Frank's work experience spans over 30 years starting in the waterproofing and masonry trade under the tutelage of his father at the early age of 15. The "on the job" training has equipped Frank to understand field conditions and effectively find solutions to challenging project conditions.

Frank worked as an engineer's aid for an Engineering & Land Surveying Company and for an owner/developer on many projects including an IBM office complex and a corporate park site which included an AT&T office building and a Hilton Hotel.

Joseph R. Boccia

Joseph R. Boccia is a Senior Construction Inspector and Project Manager for Engineered Building Inspections, P.C. Joseph is certified as a Structural Masonry Special Inspector by the International Code Council and has been serving the construction industry for over 30 years.

He graduated from St. Johns University in Jamaica NY with a Bachelors of Science degree as a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon. He helped build a waterproofing and masonry business through his careful management into one of the most respected companies in the New York area and is regarded by engineers, architects and his peers as an expert in his field. Joseph received a United States patent (Patent # 4879851) on the Hollow Kick Molding which revolutionized the waterproofing industry. He has been quoted in many trade journals because of his extensive knowledge in waterproofing and has lectured to professional audiences on the subject.

Jesus E. Ceballos

Jesus E. Ceballos is a structural engineer for Engineered Building Inspections, P.C. having over 17 years experience in industrial, commercial and residential building design and construction. Jesus has over 10 years experience in the design of heavy construction projects and medical and school facilities. Jesus provides physical examination and construction oversight on high rise New York City construction facades. Jesus earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of the Coast Barranquilla- Colombia in 1985. Jesus was a Structural Specialist and lecturer for the National University of Colombia.
